Publish Mini Feed and News Feed

Sep 26, 2008 at 10:46 AM

     I using Facebook.Net to created an Iframe facebook application.  I would like to know Feed.PublishMiniFeedStory is same as feed.publishUserAction or feed.registerTemplateBundle?
     Please refer the following code that I used for the publish mini feed or news feed:

    private static readonly Facebook.Service.FeedStoryTemplate HelloWorldStoryTemplate = new Facebook.Service.FeedStoryTemplate("<fb:name uid=\"686846825\"/> created an event for a <a  href=\"\" style=\"color: #584F85; font-weight: bold\">Hot Headgear</a> party in <a href=\"\" style=\"color: #584F85; font-weight: bold\">Magic Wardrobe</a>! <a href=\"\" style=\"color: #584F85; font-weight: bold\">Check out the event.</a></div>.<div style=\"margin: 5px;padding-left: 20px;\"><img src=\"\" style=\"max-width: 50px; max-height: 50px; width: expression(this.width > 50 ? 50 : true); height: expression(this.height > 50 ? 50 : true); \" /></div>", "{target}");

       Facebook.Service.FeedImage images = new Facebook.Service.FeedImage("", "");

                    Facebook.Service.FeedStory story = new Facebook.Service.FeedStory(HelloWorldStoryTemplate, fbApplication.Service.UserID, friends);
                    story.AddTemplateValue("images", images.ToString());

     However, no record display in mini feed or news feed.

      Please provide me some help how to publish mini feed or news feed with images. Beside that, how to use feed.publishUserAction or feed.registerTemplateBundle to publish mini feed or news feed with images though api.

      Thank you

The framework does not support the new API.  I am actually rewriting the Facebook.Net framework Feeds section to work with the 2.0 API.  I'll have it finished today or tomorrow.  I've contacted Nikhil but not heard back from him.  If he doesn't add me as a developer I'll just start a new project with the feed changes.  I'll keep everyone posted.  It will probably be ready by early next week.

Is there any news on the rewrite of the feeds section?
