Hi All,

I'm was looking at adding a sendEmail() method to the Notifications service, but haven't successfully received any of the emails I've sent. The Response code from the method appears to be ok, it's returning my recipient id, but I've yet to receive any of the emails that have been sent. I've tried using text and fbml and neither have worked.

Has anyone gotten this service to work successfully? Any help is much appreciated.

i have received an email by sending this method as request i m pasting the code here, i think it will solve ur problem

Dim fb As New Facebook.Service.Core.FacebookRequest(fbApp.Session) ' fbapp is the control wich has a valid session to the facebook

Dim resp As Facebook.Service.Core.FacebookResponse
fb.Parameters.Add("recipients", fbApp.Service.UserID)
fb.Parameters.Add("subject", "Test Mail")
fb.Parameters.Add("format", "XML")
fb.Parameters.Add("text", "Test Mail for Best Hotel")
fb.Parameters.Add("fbml", "Test Mail for Best Hotel")
resp = fb.InvokeMethod("facebook.notifications.sendEmail")
' in this if it goes to the else block & prints the userid but send the mail successfully
If resp.Result = Facebook.Service.Core.FacebookResponseStatus.Succeeded Then
Response.Write("Mail sent")

End If

this code will send an email to the current user
