Gridviews don't work with new build?

Jan 14, 2008 at 1:46 PM
I know this sounds strange, but once I updated the DLLs, my gridviews don't allow editing. When I change values and click on "Save" I get the old values back and nothing happens. The row remains in edit mode.

The "Save" itself doesn't do anything with the FB API. I do have an OnRowUpdated event that does call the FB API, but it's not being fired.

Replacing the Facebook.NET DLLs with the previous build solves this problem, but I'd like to use the new SetFBML.

Has anybody encountered this issue and can offer a fix?

Can you provide a trimmed down repro... specifially the page which contains the grid... if we can get to the bottom of the issue, I will get a new build out asap - I know you need the changes for SetFBML soon.

I later found out that none of my controls performed an update. GridViews, DetailsViews, whatever. I use them all with a SQLDataSource.

The problem was with the EnableViewState=false I use on the Page declaration. It worked well with the previous build, but I had to remove it after updating to the new build.
