How to use the Source Code Change sets?

Great to see Nikhil fixing all the little glitches so fast - excellent job!

Now for those of us noobs (hopefully not just me) how do we use the changed source code sets? I'm fine with the full initial installs, but have never had a look at the source code - I've had a good look but couldn't see any instructions on how to use the updated code. has anyone got any?

Thanks guys - keep up the good work

download the source code and build the project to make the dll's yourself

Thanks Confused,

I've downloaded the source code. Then It all gets a bit hazy . . do I need to open the Facebook.sln solution and then click on "Build" in Visual Studio? And does that then produce the various dlls and xml?

If that is what is required, then we have another problem - I have tried to open the Facebook.sln solution, but it tells me that it was created by a newer version and cannot be opened (our version is VS 2005). Does anyone know what version Nikhil is using for the source code, and/or if there is any way to use the build the dll without accessing the sln?

OK, I've worked it out:

You need Visual Studio 2008 - download the source code, then open the Solution (sln) file.

then click on build-> build solution. It will create the dlls, xml files etc.

Easy - once you know how!
